उत्तराखंड टेक्निकल यूनिवर्सिटी (UTU) में बीटेक सेमेस्टर परीक्षा के पेपर लीक होने का एक बड़ा मामला सामने आया है। इसके बाद विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गया है। देहरादून के शिवालिक कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग से जुड़े पेपर लीक मामले में जांच के बाद बड़ा खुलासा हुआ है। आरोप है कि परीक्षा से पहले ही प्रश्नपत्र वॉट्सएप और ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के जरिए छात्रों तक पहुंचा दिया गया। मामले की पुष्टि के बाद विश्वविद्यालय ने दो विषयों की परीक्षाएं रद्द कर दी हैं। आरोपी असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर पर 7 साल का प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। पेपर होने से पहले छात्रों तक पहुंचा प्रश्नपत्र
विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को एक ईमेल प्राप्त हुआ था, जिसमें बीटेक थर्ड ईयर के सेकंड सेमेस्टर का पेपर लीक होने की सूचना दी गई थी। उत्तराखंड तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय ने एक जांच कराई उस जांच में सामने आया है कि ‘मशीन लर्निंग फॉर इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स’ विषय का प्रश्नपत्र परीक्षा से पहले लीक होकर वॉट्सएप और ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के माध्यम से छात्रों तक पहुंच गया था। वहीं ‘इलेक्ट्रोमैग्नेटिक फील्ड थ्योरी’ विषय के प्रश्नपत्र की गोपनीयता पर भी गंभीर आशंका जताई गई, जिसके चलते एहतियातन इस परीक्षा को भी रद्द कर दिया गया।
7 साल के लिए असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर पर लगा बैन
विश्वविद्यालय ने मामले में आरोपी असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डॉक्टर आशीष कुमार गुप्ता को अगले 7 सालों तक किसी भी परीक्षा संबंधी कार्य से प्रतिबंधित कर दिया है। साथ ही संबंधित संस्थान के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है। विश्वविद्यालय ने स्पष्ट किया है कि दोनों विषयों की दोबारा परीक्षाएं अगस्त के तीसरे सप्ताह में आयोजित की जाएंगी। नई डेटशीट जल्द ही विश्वविद्यालय की वेबसाइट पर जारी होगी।
12 इंजीनियरिंग संस्थानों के छात्रों को होना था शामिल
इन परीक्षाओं में प्रदेश के 12 इंजीनियरिंग संस्थानों के छात्र शामिल होंगे। इन संस्थानों में बिरला इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एप्लाइड साइंसेज भीमताल, तुलाज इंस्टीट्यूट देहरादून, बीटीकेआईटी द्वाराहाट, रूड़की इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, शिवालिक कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग, जयराम भाई पटेल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, माया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, बाबा फरीद इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, टीएचडीसी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ हाइड्रोपावर इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी टिहरी, नन्हीं परी सीमांत इंजीनियरिंग संस्थान पिथौरागढ़, वूमेंस इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी देहरादून और इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी गोपेश्वर शामिल हैं।
जल्द की आएगी परीक्षा की दोबारा से तारीख
शुरुआती जानकारी के मुताबिक, इस पेपर लीक के दायरे में लगभग 12 छात्र-छात्राएं ही शामिल थे। हालांकि, परीक्षा की शुचिता और पारदर्शिता बनाए रखने के लिए विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने बिना कोई जोखिम लिए पूरी परीक्षा को ही रद्द कर दोबारा आयोजित कराने का फैसला लिया है। नई परीक्षा तिथियों की घोषणा जल्द ही की जाएगी।
