वरिष्ठ नागरिक सामाजिक संगठन ने की भरण पोषण पेंशन 5 हजार करने की मांग
वरिष्ठ नागरिक सामाजिक संगठन ने दिव्यांग, विधवा और वृद्धों को मिलने वाली भरण पोषण पेंशन को पांच हजार रूपए मासिक करने की मांग की है। संगठन की और से इस संबंध में सिटी मजिस्ट्रेट के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन भी प्रेषित किया गया है। वरिष्ठ नागरिक सामाजिक संगठन के अध्यक्ष चौधरी चरण सिंह ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के पेंशन धारको और उनके आश्रितों को मिलने वाली पेंशन में वृद्धि कर रही है। विधायको की पेंशन और मासिक भक्तों में 10 हजार से 30000 रुपए तक की वृद्धि की गयी है। राज्य आंदोलनकारियों की पेंशन में भी एक हजार से पन्द्रह सौ रूपए की वृद्धि की गई है। लेकिन दिव्यांगों, विधवा और वृद्धों को मिलने वाली 1500 रूपए मासिक पेंशन में कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की गयी है। चौधरी चरण सिंह ने कहा कि अन्य राज्यों में दिव्यांग, विधवा और वृद्धावस्था पेंशन 3200 रुपए प्रतिमाह है। साथ ही महंगाई भत्ता भी दिया जा रहा है। इसलिए उत्तराखंड में भरण पोषण के लिए मिलने वाली पेंशन को पांच हजार रूपए मासिक किया जाए। ज्ञापन प्रेषित करने वालों में विद्यासागर गुप्ता, बाबूलाल सुमन, रामसागर सिंह, सुभाषचन्द्र ग्रोवर व चौधरी चरणसिंह शामिल रहे।
