सावन के प्रथम सोमवार के अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित ने दक्षेश्वर महादेव मंदिर पहुंचकर कांवड़ मेले एवं श्रद्धालुओं के लिए की गई व्यवस्थाओं का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान उन्होंने सेक्टर अधिकारियों एवं संबंधित अधिकारियों को सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, भीड़ प्रबंधन तथा श्रद्धालुओं के सुचारु एवं पंक्तिबद्ध दर्शन सुनिश्चित कराने के निर्देश दिए।
जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि सावन के प्रथम सोमवार पर बड़ी संख्या में शिवभक्त मंदिर पहुंच रहे हैं। ऐसे में सभी अधिकारी पूरी सतर्कता एवं समन्वय के साथ अपने दायित्वों का निर्वहन करें, ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा न हो। उन्होंने बैरिकेडिंग, पेयजल, स्वच्छता, चिकित्सा एवं अन्य मूलभूत व्यवस्थाओं का भी जायजा लिया तथा आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित ने अपने परिवार सहित दक्षेश्वर महादेव मंदिर में भगवान शिव का जलाभिषेक एवं विधि-विधान से पूजा-अर्चना की। उन्होंने भगवान शिव से जनपद की सुख-समृद्धि, प्रदेशवासियों के कल्याण तथा कांवड़ मेला-2026 के सकुशल एवं शांतिपूर्ण संपन्न होने की प्रार्थना की।
निरीक्षण के उपरांत जिलाधिकारी ने मंदिर परिसर में उपस्थित शिवभक्तों को फल एवं पेयजल वितरित कर उनका स्वागत किया तथा सभी श्रद्धालुओं को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए सुरक्षित एवं व्यवस्थित यात्रा की अपील की। उन्होंने श्रद्धालुओं से स्वच्छता बनाए रखने तथा प्रशासन का सहयोग करने का भी आग्रह किया।
