हरिद्वार, 26 अगस्त। भाजपा कनखल मण्डल अध्यक्ष प्रशांत शर्मा ने मुख्य नगर आयुक्त को ज्ञापन देकर कनखल क्षेत्र में सभी आवारा कुत्तों का रैबीज टीकाकरण कराए जाने की मांग की है। ज्ञापन में प्रशांत शर्मा ने बताया है कि कुत्ते के काटने पर रैबीज इंफेक्शन से कनखल के युवक सौरभ भारद्वाज का निधन हो गया है। जिस कुत्ते ने सौरभ को काटा था उसी ने उनकी गाय को भी काटा था। कुत्ते के काटने के बाद गाय की भी मौत हो गयी है। प्रशांत शर्मा ने आशंका जतायी है कि युवक और गाय की मौत का कारण बने कुत्ते के संपर्क में रहने वाले सभी कुत्ते रैबीज से संक्रमित हो सकते हैं। जिससे क्षेत्र की जनता भयभीत है। इसलिए कनखल क्षेत्र के सभी कुत्तो का रैबीज टीकाकरण कराया जाना सुनिश्चित किया जाए। जिससे भविष्य में होने वाली किसी भी अनहोनी से बचा जा सके। ज्ञापन सौंपने वालों में आशीष भारद्वाज, पूर्व मंडल अध्यक्ष हीरा सिंह बिष्ट, लव नाथ, मयंक गुप्ता, अनिमेष कुमार आदि शामिल रहे।
