हरिद्वार, 30 अप्रैल। अक्षय तृतीया के अवसर पर श्री अखंड परशुराम अखाड़े के अध्यक्ष पंडित अधीर कौशिक के संयोजन में श्रद्धालुओं ने मां गंगा का पूजन कर भगवान परशुराम का जन्मोत्सव धूमधाम के साथ मनाया। पंडित अधीर कौशिक ने बताया भगवान परशुराम का जन्म अक्षय तृतीया के दिन प्रदोष काल में हुआ था। ऋषि जमदग्नि मुनि और रेणुका के पुत्र भगवान परशुराम चिरंजीवी हैं। भगवान परशुराम ने शास्त्र एवं शस्त्र दोनों को धारण किया। शास्त्र द्वारा आत्म कल्याण किया जाता है एवं शस्त्र द्वारा आत्मरक्षा की जाती है। आज जिस प्रकार से आतंकवाद समाज में फैल रहा है। आतंकवाद को नष्ट करने के लिए समाज एवं सनातन की रक्षा के लिए शास्त्र और शस्त्र दोनों की आवश्यकता है। अखाड़े के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता भागवताचार्य पंडित पवन कृष्ण शास्त्री ने बताया कि सनातन धर्म में पूजे जाने वाले प्रत्येक देवी देवता ने धर्म रक्षा और राक्षसों के संहार के लिए शस्त्र धारण किए है। भगवान परशुराम ने क्षत्रियों का नहीं राक्षसों का संहार किया था। इस दौरान जेपी जुयाल, राजकुमार शर्मा, लखनपाल शर्मा, ऋषि शर्मा, जलज कौशिक, सत्यम शर्मा, राधे शर्मा, जेपी बडोनी, रविदेव महाराज, अमित भारद्वाज, संदीप शर्मा, पूर्व प्रेस क्लब अध्यक्ष अमित शर्मा, महंत शिवम, सचिन तिवारी, सोमपाल कश्यप, बृजमोहन शर्मा, मनोज ठाकुर, पंडित विष्णु आचार्य आदि मौजूद रहे।
