हरिद्वार, 31 अगस्त। पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत ने रविवार को वरिष्ठ यूकेडी नेता पूर्व मंत्री दिवाकर भट्ट के आवास तरूण हिमालय पहुंचकर उनका हाल जाना। इस दौरान दोनों नेताओं के बीच काफी देर तक चर्चा हुई। मुलाकात के बाद हरक सिंह रावत ने बताया कि उत्तराखंड को अलग राज्य बनाने के आंदोलन में दिवाकर भटट की अहम भूमिका रही है। लेकिन दुख होता है कि जिस उद्देश्य से उत्तराखंड को अलग राज्य बनाया गया था। उसे हम लोग पूरा नहीं कर पाए। उन्होंने कहा कि पौड़ी में हालात खराब हो रहे हैं। पलायन लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। इसलिए उत्तराखंड में कुछ ना कुछ नया होने जा रहा है।
