चाईनीज मांझा बेचने वालों पर कार्रवाई करते हुए ज्वालापुर कोतवाली पुलिस ने एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार कर भारी मात्रा में प्रतिबंधित चाईनीज मांझा बरामद किया है। एसएसपी के निर्देश पर पुलिस प्रतिबंधित चाईनीज मांझे की बिक्री के खिलाफ अभियान चला रही है। अभियान के तहत ज्वालापुर कोतवाली पुलिस की कई टीमों का गठन किया गया। मंगलवार सवेरे एसएसआई खेमेन्द्र गंगवार के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ज्वालापुर बाजार क्षेत्र में पतंग एवं मांझा बेचने वाली दुकानों की चेकिंग कर रही थी। इस दौरान पुलिस टीम को मुखबिर खास से सूचना मिली कि मोहल्ला लोधा मंडी मेहतान में एक बंद कमरे में भारी मात्रा में प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज मांझा रखा गया है। सूचना पर पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर कमरे का दरवाजा खोलकर चेक किया तो अंदर मौजूद एक व्यक्ति ने मौके से भागने का प्रयास किया। जिसे पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर ही पकड़ लिया। पूछताछ में उसने अपना नाम दानिश पुत्र तय्यब निवासी मोहल्ला लोधा मंडी मेहतान ज्वालापुर बताया। पुलिस ने कमरे में रखे 2 प्लास्टिक के कट्टों को खोलकर चेक किया तो चाईनीज मांझे के 133 गट्टू बरामद हुए। पुलिस ने बरामद मांझे को सील करने के साथ आरोपी दानिश को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपी के खिलाफ अवैध चाईनीज मांझा बिक्री करने के संबंध में मुकद्मा दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस टीम में एसएसआई खेमेंद्र गंगवार, एएसआई गंभीर तोमर, हेडकांस्टेबल गोवर्धन प्रसाद, कांस्टेबल गणेश तोमर, अमित गौड़, राजेश बिष्ट, ताजबर सिंह शामिल रहे। कोतवाली प्रभारी कुंदन सिंह राणा ने आमजन से प्रतिबंधित मांझे के संबंध में तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना देने की अपील करते हुए बताया कि अभियान निरंतर जारी रहेगा।
